FLAN

FLAN was presented during IFDA 2021, drawing much attention for its concept of creating a cozy, enveloping private space that you can get lost in no matter where you are. After some fine-tuning, this idea was made into an official CondeHouse product, released as the FLAN Lounge Chair. In this era where privacy is highly valued, FLAN makes it possible to maintain an appropriate sense of distance between people, even in high density spaces such as airports, offices, and cafes. An attractive point of the Lounge Chair is that when viewed from behind, the strong presence of wood provides a sense of calm to the space and helps create a more relaxed atmosphere. The angled back creates a look that draws you in.

In addition to the wide and roomy seat’s ability to comfortably accommodate a variety of sitting styles, the chair is unique in that the impressive size and shape of the back obstructs the view from most angles, appealing to those who want a relaxing moment to themselves while waiting in public. The configuration also protects your device screens or other private material from being visible to the outside.

The FLAN series’ Headrest can be added to the seat for additional comfort. Place the Side Table alongside the chair to help create a cozy, restful oasis, with a place to set beverages, snacks, books, devices, etc. Or, pair FLAN with one of our MOLA Side Tables to create an elegant, modern common room or waiting area.
