LINUS High-Back Lounge Chair

This series expresses the beautiful curved lines imagined by Sture Eng through advanced manufacturing techniques. Since its launch in 2007, LINUS has maintained its presence as a popular personal chair. In pursuit of a sense of lightness, a bed cushion was added to this high-back chair to create an increased comfortability. Available in Japanese Oak and Walnut, LINUS will provide a refreshing addition to your space without crowding it. The frame follows the body contours when you sit down, and the cushion comfortably cradles your head. The chair is not angled too much upwards, making it perfect for sitting back and relaxing while watching TV or movies.

The wooden frame extends elegantly from the arms to the tip of the legs. Sture Eng was particular in his design of the slender profile, achieving a sense of lightness through varying thickness throughout the frame. Strength is achieved through using a manufacturing technique in which thin sheets of plywood are stacked and bent to create the curves.
