KOTAN Round Table

KOTAN Round Table

Our KOTAN Series was developed by Naoto Fukasawa with the goal of creating “next-generation, long-lasting products.” This table was created with the goal of pleasant and easy use in daily life, designed with a unique single-leg support and metal base. To perfect and bring out its simple design, we pay close attention to every detail, such as appropriately adjusting the support thickness based on the diameter of the top, and ensuring that seams and points of connection do not stand out. A highlight of this product is its top, which makes use of the rich wood grain present in Japanese Ash. We use random match veneer to achieve a look as close as possible to that of solid wood. Polyurethane finish makes maintenance simple, as spills can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.

Endless Variety, Endless Possibility

The KOTAN table is available in 8 different diameters to suit a wide variety of situations and environments. A diameter of 30″ or greater is recommended for use as a dining table. The 20″-28″ compact sizes are perfect for use as cafe tables or for other contract uses. The wood portion is available in all CondeHouse standard Japanese Ash finishes, and the metal base is available in three colors (M-GY, S-GY, S-BL). With such rich variations available, KOTAN can fit well into any scene.

In addition, one of the charms of round tables is that they can accommodate virtually any seating configuration. No matter where you sit, everyone can see each other’s faces easily, allowing natural conversation to spring forth. In addition, the corner-free, center-leg configuration not only adds a softer feel to your space, but also is safer when bumped into. For these reasons, KOTAN is a perfect option in an area where young children are present.
