Good response to our new products at ICFF 2019
International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) was held in Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York from May 19 to 23. Conde House has participated for three consecutive years. We exhibited our new KOTAN chair, the TEN series, and our new product NUPRI.
This year, our booth was one and a half times larger than last year. Over 800 people visited our display. The 118" height panels separated our booth into 4 zones, which enabled us to perfectly express our concepts and images of all products.
Our new KOTAN chair, designed by Naoto Fukasawa, was displayed in front of the booth and attracted a lot of attention. This chair is extremely minimal, functional thanks to being stackable, and lastly, inexpensive considering the quality. We heard a lot of favorable voices, and a number of people commented that they would like to suggest it for public spaces such as educational facilities, hospitals, and halls.
Conde House launched a new TEN series items at IMM Cologne, Germany in January 2019 and we received plenty of positive feedback in Europe, Japan, and now also in New York. The items that received the most attention were TEN coffee tables, praised for the beautiful details of metal legs and top boards. The four tables all have different shapes and can be produced in different colors, which makes them perfect for using as a set. This element of fun adds to their value.
TEN Extension Table, which was also exhibited last year, had a great response. The visitors were taking pictures and videos of a demonstration of this table’s functioning.
NUPRI, our newest series designed by Toshiyuki Kita, was introduced in Milan this April. Its characteristic look caught the eye on The New York Times and a local paper which wrote about NUPRI on their pages. NUPRI Lounge Chair is a reclining chair with two tables on both sides and has a conspicuous, futuristic design.
