Naoto Fukasawa is one of the world’s leading Industrial Designers. Forming his own studio in 2003, after leading IDEO’s Tokyo offices, Fukasawa has since collaborated and worked with many corporations and manufacturers to design iconic products. He is a Creative Director with influential MUJI shops worldwide. In 2007, he was awarded the title of Honourable Royal Designer for Industry, by RSA, Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce, in the U.K. Between 2010-2014, he acted as the Chairman for the Good Design Award in Japan. Besides his running his own studio as Industrial Designer, he is a professor at the Department of Integrated Design at Tama Art University. He is currently a Director for Design Sight 21_21 museum in Roppongi, Tokyo, one of the most progressive and influential Art and Design venues in the world.
