Designer feature

Our featured designer is Ted Boerner.
Inspired by the forms and imagery experienced during his travels to Japan, Ted Boerner is the creator of the Rikyu collection.
“Give form to the quiet human ritual of home” is the ideal behind these object-oriented pieces.
Each piece is unique and original, yet work together with varying degrees of “Iki” (stylish with quiet sparkle), “Ma” (space or time between things), and “Takumi” (craftsmanship). Simple forms elegantly proportioned, gently gestured with honest fabrication techniques celebrate the craft of the hand. The uniqueness will be in their spirit, designed to delight the eye, engage the imagination, and comfort the body.
